Hosting and Infrastructure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All live customer data sits in Microsoft Azure\u2019s UK South data centre. Your information never leaves the UK and benefits from Azure\u2019s continually updated security features. Each customer has a single-tenant database, so your data is kept completely separate from everyone else\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Backups and Recovery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We perform continuous geo-redundant backups to another secure UK site more than 200 kilometres away. If the primary data centre were to fail, your system could be restored quickly with no loss of critical information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Encryption<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Data is encrypted at every stage. We use AES-256 encryption while it is stored and HTTPS with TLS when it is transmitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Standards and Compliance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sense Workplace is certified to ISO27001:2022 and complies fully with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Customers remain the data controllers and we act solely as the processor. If you leave the platform, you can export or permanently delete your data within 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Permissions and Visibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Access to data is controlled by your own administrators. By default, individual users can only see their own information, and you can set more detailed permissions to match specific roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two-Factor Authentication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Two-factor authentication is available and can be required for every user. This adds a strong extra barrier against unauthorised access even if a password is compromised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI Features<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sense Workplace includes optional AI tools that help automate workflows and surface useful insights. These features run within the same certified and GDPR-compliant environment as the rest of the platform. Data used by AI remains in your own system and is never shared with third parties for training. You can turn AI features off at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
